Who is your favorite Smart Gilas player?

I have 2 favorite Smart Gilas players, Mac Baracael and Chris Tiu. I have watched these 2 players since shooting in the UAAP starting 2008.

I remember Mac Baracael of FEU was shot twice at the back almost 3 years ago but only  a  year after the incident, he joined Smart Gilas and is  now a big part of our National Basketball Team.

Chris Tiu has always been a tough and smart player in college but some said he is too little to compete in International Tournaments, but he has proven the critics wrong by playing hard and is now Co-Captain of Smart Gilas along with Andy Mark Barroca. If you watch the Smart Gilas games live, you can count how many times Tiu falls down hard and you can see how tough he plays defense (even against opposing imports the last PBA Commissioners Cup).

Smart Gilas National Team vs Powerade Team Pilipinas Exhibition Game
Pinoy Basketbol Kakampi Niyo – Fund Raising for the Victims of Ondoy

My first time to shoot Smart Gilas was in October 5, 2009 during their Exhibition Match against  Powerade Team Pilipinas at the Araneta Coliseum. First time to see first hand the plays of Rajko Toroman in action which resulted in a big win for Smart Gilas against the previous National Basketball Team composed of PBA players.
